Wildest White House Animals
The White House has been a literal zoo over the years, making the now standard Presidential puppy look boring and safe. Here’s 10 of the best Presidential pets.
Woodrow Wilson had a tobacco-chewing ram with a flock of sheep to keep the grass down.
Martin Van Buren had two tiger cubs, a gift from the Sultan of Oman which Congress made him to send to the zoo.
Teddy Roosevelt had a literal zoo which included a lion, hyena, wildcat, coyote, five bears, two parrots, zebra, barn owl, snakes, lizards, rats, roosters and a raccoon.
Hands down the wildest creature to live in the White House, Richard Milhous Nixon.
