Abandoned since 1974, this small island off the coast of Japan was once a coal mining facility and home for its workers. Hashima, also known as Gunkanjima (Battleship Island) plays host to the the villainous Raoul Silva (played by Javier Bardem) in the newest Bond film Skyfall.

best prank ever: when a friend passes out from drinking too much, take him to this island, place him next to the water, have him wake up Leo DiCaprio-in-Inception-style. Maybe hire a Marion Cotillard lookalike to follow him around.
