1. O.J. Simpson

Simpson tried on gloves and headed a notorious police chase in a speeding white Bronco to escape murder allegations. He was found not guilty of the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her then lover Ronald Goldman in the initial trial. Following the not guilty verdict which stirred up friction amongst many civilians, O.J. was convicted in a wrongful death lawsuit and incurred more than $33 million in fines.
