This Couple Had A "Pop Culture" Engagement Photo Shoot

Joanne and Sean are having a Pop Culture themed wedding and thought their engagement pictures should include elements of their favorite movies, books and bands. The bridesmaids also threw a Harry Potter themed bridal shower in honor of the bride's love of everything HP (she even has a lightning bolt tattoo!)

The shoot started out pretty normal at the park next to the bride's childhood home.

They got a lovely shot of the engagement ring that the groom designed.

They decided to show some love at the slides

And they held hands on the swings (this was really awkward for them but made a really cute picture!)

Then they started to go through the props they brought....

Two of the bride's favorite things in the world: The Little Mermaid and her engagement ring.

They showed that they were not only making a commitment to each other, but to their love of Ghostbusters and The Little Mermaid.

Seriously, they are obsessed (the bride has a Little Mermaid tattoo!)

The groom doesn't read much (hence the Ghostbusters dvd booklet) but the bride consumes books and read "The Fault in our Stars" in one day.

If only it was from Muggle to Witch....Hogwarts would be the ultimate Honeymoon destination!

By the end of the shoot, the couple was happy to hide behind their favorite bands.
