Up and coming New York singer/rapper/producer/songwriter Jared Evan has released an outstanding video for his "Boom Bap" cover of "Team", the latest hit single from Lorde. Evan's smooth and soulful vocals accompanied by the hypnotizing visuals of renowned director Rik Cordero create an unforgettable experience.
Jared has masterfully crafted a signature sound, that uniquely combines the R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, Soul and Alternative genres. After releasing his collaboration album, "Boom, Bap & Blues", with Producer/DJ Statik Selektah, Evan quickly became one of 2013's most buzzed about new artists. The project features other buzzworthy artists Joey Bada$$ and Action Bronson, as well as respected hip hop veterans like, Lil Fame of M.O.P.
Jared followed the extremely successful BB&B with a more pop driven solo effort, Pieces EP. He describes the project as "something to hold over my fans" as "they are the reason I am blessed to be in the position that I am". The project is available for free download on his website.
While Jared put's the final touches on his debut album (TBA), and the sequel to Boom Bap, he continues songwriting and producing records for peers like Hoodie Allen, Sammy Adams and Chiddy Bang.
