What Steven McQueen Will Miss Most About "The Vampire Diaries"

The actor reflects on the six years he spent playing Jeremy Gilbert on The CW's vampire drama.

After six seasons on The CW's massive hit The Vampire Diaries, fans will say good-bye to Jeremy Gilbert (for real this time) in the Feb. 12 episode.

And it's all incredibly bittersweet for Steven McQueen, who has played Jeremy since the very first episode. "I shot the pilot when I was 19 and I'm 26 now, so I grew up over the last six years with these people," he said during an interview at BuzzFeed's Los Angeles office. "What I've learned about life, what I've learned about acting on that set is priceless. From hanging out with the crew, to going out with the guys, to getting advice on set, to talking to the producers and writers about life, they're a group that means a lot to me."

BuzzFeed News asked McQueen to share what he will miss most about The Vampire Diaries cast, crew, and fans. Here are his unfiltered answers.
