Strobe lights flashing. Thumping music playing. On the stage, a giant curtain, doubling as a projection screen, shows clips of Oprah through the years. Her best interviews, fashion choices, and movie roles are featured prominently in this opening segment.
A simulated thunderstorm starts, and knocks the power out in the entire arena. The audience is left in the dark. Suddenly, the giant curtain on stage is dropped, and a tiny golden light shines up from the floor of the stage.
The light continues to grow, until Oprah herself rises from the stage floor, encapsuled in a giant, golden egg. This represents the spiritual rebirth of the audience after their Oprah live experience.
A curtain of sparks falls behind her and wild birds are released as the giant golden egg breaks apart, and Oprah is left floating mid-air, as if by magic.
An emu is released on stage and runs around wildly, stopping only at Oprah's feet to lay a large, golden egg.
After being lowered from the stage, Oprah picks up the egg and cracks it open over the heads of her backup dancers. Instead of yolk, small jewels fall onto them; it's a miracle.
Oprah motions for a nearby zebra, and is seated upon it by her dancers. She circles the stage on the zebra, so the people in the arena can catch a magical glimpse of her.
After her trip around the stage, Oprah takes a seat on a giant golden throne, as rose petals fall onto the audience seated on the arena floor.
Then....the show begins, and lives are changed....
....forever.
