The Japanese “Game Of Thrones” Covers Are Even More Amazing Than You Ever Imagined

Incredible book covers are coming. Warning: Potential spoilers.

When the A Song of Ice and Fire series was published in Japan, publishing company Hakayawa split the books into parts and commissioned new covers to be designed.

A Game Of Thrones, Part One featuring a heavily manga inspired depiction of Jon Snow.

The manga style artwork was created by Noriko Meguro and takes a huge departure in design from the Western covers of George R. R. Martin's hit fantasy series.

A Clash of Kings, Part One showing Arya with Needle.

A Clash of Kings, Part Two featuring an almost unrecognisable Sansa Stark.

A Storm of Swords, Part One showing Margaery Tyrell in a more prominent role.

A Storm of Swords, Part Two with an entirely different take on the appearance of Tyrion.

A Storm of Swords, Part Three featuring a more recognisable depiction of Samwell Tarly.

A Feast for Crows, Part One with an image of a much more imposing looking Jaime Lannister.

A Feast for Crows, Part 2 showing Cersei Lannister.

A Dance with Dragons, Part One with a depiction of Daenerys Targaryen, complete with dragons.

A Dance with Dragons, Part Two featuring Bran Stark.

A Dance with Dragons, Part Three showing Jon Snow.
