6 Reasons Why Summer Actually Sucks In Southern California

Because by August, those of us that do live here are so over it.

Yes, I understand that I should enjoy the fact that Iive in beautiful, sunny Southern California.

I also understand that everybody else has humid weather during the summer. It's not that great here either. With Memorial Day just a few weeks away, here are some reasons why summertime here in Southern California can be a pain.

6. Santa Ana Winds

You still wear something over your chest. Sometimes. Most of the time, you walk outside and grimmace as the hot air and dust envelope you.

5. Summer Rains (High/Low Desert) Get You Happy

Yes. It can sometime rain in SoCal in the summer. Ask anyone north of Victorville, it's odd, because humidity fluctuates so much by the middle of July you can't even anymore.

4. Summer means Wildfire Season

This is a well-known fact. Especially in the last five years, with the drought conditions somebody ends up accidentally or "accidentally" sets SoCal ablaze.

3. Beaches are ALWAYS packed

2. Summer Nights Are Ridiculous
