This New "Star Wars" Footage Is Almost Too Much

"Star Wars is an important part of everyone's history. It's a beautiful thing to actually be involved in it," newcomer John Boyega says in this new reel that debuted at Comic-Con.

At San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, a brand-new look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted to thousands of thrilled fans.

The reel takes the audience behind the scenes of The Force Awakens...

To see how everything and everyone comes together.

Of course, old favorites are back, like R2-D2!

And hai C-3PO.

Peter Mayhew has returned as Chewbacca to give us a little wookieespeak.

And Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, assures as that The Force Awakens will be everything we want it to be.

While Carrie Fisher is both badass and nurturing (to director J.J. Abrams) as she returns to fill Princess Leia's braids and shoes — our first look at her in character!

Ahhhhhh! A smoldering TIE fighter!

AHHHHH! The Millennium Falcon!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH! It's Nien Nunb and Admiral Ackbar from Return of the Jedi!!!

And! AND! We get to see Harrison Ford as the one and only Han Solo in the driver's seat of the Millennium Falcon!

Also, of course there's plenty of action.

And even more newbies, like Adam Driver, emerging as the hooded villain Kylo Ren.

John Boyega, who plays a stormtrooper named Finn, could not be more excited.

Simon Pegg, whose role has yet to be revealed, is practically dead on account of excessive joy.

(Seriously.)

Even Abrams, another newcomer to the Star Wars franchise, couldn't believe it was actually happening.

Domhnall Gleeson, who revealed at the Comic-Con panel that he's playing a villain named General Hux, is overwhelmed in the best way possible.

And Oscar Isaac, who plays an X-Wing pilot named Poe Dameron, can't wait for you to see it.

Daisy Ridley, who plays a scavenger on the new desert planet of Jakku named Rey, is honored to join the Star Wars universe.

Also, no one has ever made this look as cool as Lupita Nyong'o does.

Or as fun as Ridley and Boyega.

We are all this stormtrooper RN.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is scheduled to open on December 18, 2015.
