hey now, Lion King 1/2 was awesome and had very good writing and humor. Still, kind of a kids movie, but when a movie aimed for kids is well written (think Shrek, Emperor' New Groove, Finding Nemo, and many more) can have well rounded characters, adapts to their prequels naturally (this was awesome in this case) and can have inocent humor while still being entretaining

idiots. It hasn't been 6000 years since the creation of Adam, it has been exactly 5770 years, since just this weekend was celebrated Rosh Hashana 5770 (Jewish new year celebrated in this day because of the exact day of the 6th day of Genesis) But yes, according to Judaism, the world lasts for 6000 years and then “rests” just like the cycle of 6 days of work per week and one day (Sabbath) to rest. Also similar to the jubilee years (each 7 years where it's prohibited to work the land)
