1 – Fade Out #1 (Variant) (Image Comics) – New Image Comics title is sold out already. This dandy is written by none other than Ed Brubaker. Great stuff here. The variant is featured as a “movie style magazine size.”
2 – Fade Out #1 (Regular cover) (Image Comics) – The same as the number one on this list minus the magazine size variant. Yes this too is sold out.
3 – The New Teen Titans #16 (1982) (DC Comics) – This comic features the first appearance of Captain Carrot! Captain Carrot?? Why is this on the list? Check out this weeks InvestComics Hot Picks #333 and find out!
4 – Enormous #3 (215 Ink) – Issue number one sold out, issue number two sold out, and the trend continues here with issue number 3.
5 – Little Nemo Return to Slumberland #1 (Image Comics) – Sold out at the distributor.
6 – Multiversity #1 (DC Comics) – If you're into the understanding of how confusing the DC Universe truly is, then this is for you! Quite a few variants keeps things interesting, but don't expect much in return in the aftermarket. Unless something major happens to make the comic community take notice. It is Grant Morrison writing so one never knows......
7 – Delinquents #1 (Valiant) – **Blurb from the InvestComics Hot Picks #333 article** “The wildly popular Quantum and Woody team up with Archer and Armstrong. The comic right now is showing some nice sales and will eventually sell out. However, with that said, the new Valiant comics aren’t really a high priced turnover marketable seller. Maybe this comic will be a part of the scarce few that have made a bump in the aftermarket. A nice $50 variant sits out there. A big risk for the speculator here.”
8 – Dark Horse Presents #1 (3rd Series) (Dark Horse) – Have you ever seen the names that appear in these short story comics? Frank Miller, Howard Chaykin, John Byrne, Neil Adams, crazy line-ups. How these comics amount to nothing more than getting dumped in a fifty cent recycle comic box is beyond me. Oh well. Here is a new start to some new stories by more of the industries best.
9 – Giant Robot Warrior Maintenance Crew #1 - (Cosmic Times) – Almost sold out at Diamond Didtributors.
10 – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Annual #1 (IDW) – Running with the hype of the successful(?) new movie.
