This just proves my point that we, as women, are WAY too hard on ourselves. If Salma Hayek doesn’t feel sexy what is wrong with this world? Salma says it’s not her body that is great but she dresses it properly! “I won a ‘Best Body Award’ from Fitness Magazine and I was too embarrassed to accept it. I actually don’t have a good body, but if everybody thinks so, I guess it means I’m a good actress. I have acted the part of the girl who has a very good body. If you know how to dress, there’s some tricks you can pull.” We need to be a little more accepting of ourselves I think. How she can not stare at herself in the mirror naked for hours I just don’t understand. I would never leave my house. :) Salma thinks the fashion world has a little too much say in what is considered attractive: “What do we call ugly now? It’s anybody that is not super-skinny and really tall. Some people think they’re ugly just because they don’t reach that standard. I personally have seen a lot of really skinny tall models that maybe I think are ugly and they need to eat a little to look healthy.” While some women are naturally super-skinny, I think women spend too much time depriving themselves and obsessing about thinness. We are all guilty of it. This madness needs to stop. What say we all have a donut today?
