7 Of The Weirdest Theme Cruises

Themed cruises are ten a penny these days. Here are some of the weirdest out there!

1. New Kids on the Block Cruise

That’s right you can spend your “SUMMER TIME”with Donnie, Danny, Jordan, Jonathan and Joey. Cruising from NYC to Bermuda in June 2014 there will be surprise events and themed deck parties. Sadly Marky Mark was otherwise engaged.

2. The naturist cruise

Hate clothes? Then experience the Croatian coastline and a lot more on an 8 day naturist cruise with 22 other brave souls. The itinerary includes trips to several naturist beaches.

3. Knitting cruise

You heard me, there is a cruise dedicated to the most serene of pastimes, knitting. Sail the high seas and get your stockinette stitch on! The itinerary includes knitting cruise mixers and port lectures on the local yarn stores.

4. Cruise Trek

Live long and prosper at sea with past Star Trek stars such as John Billingsley who played Doctor Phlox, Denise Crosby who starred as Lt. Tasha Yar and Garret Wang who featured for 7 years as Harry Kim.

5. The cougar cruise

No not a cruise full of angry mountain lions, this three night cruise is designed for older women to meet younger men for “companionship”.

6. Steampunk cruise and high seas ball

Steampunk is a retro-futuristic, post-apocalyptic subgenre of sci-fi. No I don’t understand either. Anyhow, this cruise sails from New Orleans and visits Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Cozumel, promising seven days of Steampunk music, metal and lace. Now where’s that travel agent!

7. Sail the seven seas with Kenny G

Roam the Alaskan waters with the smooth sax delights of Kenny G for a week on this cruise departing from Vancouver.
