PBS Is Trying To Get Viewers By Mocking Reality TV, And It Just Might Work

“The fact you thought this was a real show says a lot about the state of TV.”

A campaign for the New York City PBS station mocks the current state of television with professional ads for fake reality shows. "It's pretty scary when you look out there and see what's on television these days," Jeff Anderson, Executive Creative Director at the agency responsible for the campaign, CHI&Partners NY, said in a press release. "If New Yorkers want an inspiring and educational option, they need to get behind a network that we sometimes take for granted."
