The boy reportedly told police he became uncomfortable after she would show up at his football games and tell him how sexy his smile was. In June, 2012, Khan was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old student on multiple occasions including in her car and home and at various hotels.

Nicole Jacques, Pennsylvania

In late March, 2012, Nicole Jacques allegedly had sex with her 15-year-old student several times in her apartment. None of the alleged abuse happened at Calvary Baptist School in Pennsylvania where she worked.

Stephanie Cobb, Orange City, Fla.

Cobb was arrested in March, 2012 for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student. She also allegedly exchanged 12,000 texts with the boy over the course of four months

Lauren Redfern, Colorado

Colorado high school physical education teacher and basketball coach Lauren Redfern was charged with sexual assault on a child by a person of a position of trust with a pattern of sexual abuse after suspicions arose that she was having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student over the course of 4 months. Though initial interviews with the victim indicate that their relationship was consensual, it will not deter the Sheriff's Office from pressing charges against Redfern.

A 38-year-old teacher at Williams Intermediate School in Alabama, was arrested in February 2012 for allegedly raping a male student between the ages of 12 and 16.

a 30-year-old special education teacher at Rice Lake Middle School in Wisconsin, was jailed in February 2012 after she allegedly had sex with two 17-year-old students.

Jennifer Schultz, North Dakota

Charged with sexually assaulting two of her students after a group of students arrived at her home and asked if she would like to drink vodka with them. Authorities say that after a few drinks, two of the boys went up to Schultz's room, where the teacher allegedly had sex with one boy while the other watched.

a 32 year old science teacher in the Chicago suburbs, was charged with sexual exploitation of a child on Sept. 27 after allegedly sending explicit photos of herself to a 15-year-old student.

Turner, now 34, a former teacher who served time in jail for having sex with a 13-year-old boy, is currently serving a prison sentence for sending inappropriate photos and videos of herself to that same boy after she served out her original sentence.

Inappropriate sexual relationship with a student at Brighton Charter High School, where she was a teacher, Friday, June 8, 2007, in Fort Collins, Colorado. McCandless was sentenced to 45 days in jail, five years on probation and a four-year deferred sentence.

Mary Kay Fualaau, formerly known as Mary Kay Letourneau, is an American schoolteacher who was imprisoned from 1997 to 2004 for having sexual intercourse with her 13-year-old student, Vili Fualaau.

A 36 year old elementary school teacher charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor. The former fifth-grade teacher accused of having sex with her 11-year-old student was ordered held on $100,000 bond. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty in 2007.

A science teacher at Claymont Elementary School, was arrested early Tuesday, April 4, 2006. The sixth-grade science teacher was accused of having sex with a 13-year-old student and was sentenced to 10 years in prison Friday March 16, 2007. Prosecutors had wanted Scott to sentence Holt to the maximum of 25 years.

A Gallatin High School teacher charged with statutory rape after being accused of having sex with a 17-year-old male student at her home in Nashville.

Angela Renee Comer

Comer was sentenced to five years in prison for one count of sodomy and five additional years for one count of custodial interference. The former teacher was charged with having sex with a 14-year-old middle school student and running off to Mexico with him in January 2006.

Stacy Schuler, Ohio

An ex-Ohio teacher convicted on Oct. 27 of having sex with five students. The teens testified their teacher had been drinking alcohol and initiated much of the contact during the encounters, which took place at Schuler's home. After a judge rejected an insanity defense that argued the teens took advantage of her, Schuler was sentenced to a total of four years in prison.

Abbie Jane Swogger, Natrona Heights, PA

Then 34-year-old teacher's aide at Highlands Senior High School.

On the night of February 21 through the 22nd, Swogger rented a hotel room at the Clarion Inn. Police arriving there found beer, marijuana, an open condom wrapper, and several 14 and 15-year-old teenagers, many of whom were friends of Swogger's son. When police arrived to arrest Swogger, they found a 17-year-old boy hiding in her bedroom. Soon a picture leaked of Swogger, a former exotic dancer, naked and being groped by at least six underage boys. It was also revealed that Swogger had had sexual intercourse with another 16-year-old student weeks before the incident at the Clarion Inn. By the time Swogger made it to trial, she was accused of 39 separate charges, including providing crack cocaine to the teenagers at the Clarion Inn, and luring two other female teenagers to her room at the Clarion Inn in order to have sex with them. In May of 2009, she pleaded guilty to 11 of the 39 charges against her, and was sentenced to three to six years in jail, followed by 36 years of probation. She will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.

Nicole Long, Defiance, OH

Was a 29-year-old English teacher at Ayersville High School in Defiance, OH. She was arrested on charges of sexual battery of a 17-year-old male former student in January, 2006. According to police documents, Long and the student had sexual intercourse in Long's home one afternoon in June of 2005. By the time the charges came to light, Long was nearly seven-months pregnant, though it was never revealed if the father was the student or her husband. She pleaded guilty in January of 2006 to third-degree sexual battery. She was sentenced to 45 days in a county jail.

Lisa Lavoie, Holyoke, MA

Was a 24-year-old teacher at Maurice A. Donahue Elementary School in Holyoke, MA. In June of 2009, Lavoie was indicted for six counts of statutory rape and one count of enticing a15-year-old boy, and was charged at a later date with three further counts of aggravated rape and abuse and three counts of statutory rape.

Kesha D. Manuel, Baton Rouge, LA

An art teacher, first began exchanging letters with a 15-year-old male student before eventually meeting the student at a public library, where the two had sex in a woman's restroom stall. The affair was eventually discovered by the school's principal. Manuel pleaded guilty to felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, and was placed on five years of active probation.

Lindsay Massaro, Frankford, NJ

Was a student teacher at Frankford Elementary School. She was arrested in April 2009 for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a middle school student. According to the Sussex County prosecutors office, Massaro had "committed acts of sexual penetration, and sexual contact with the intimate parts of a minor male." Massaro admitted to investigators that she had commited sex acts on the boy in her car, as well as in her home. Police became aware of Massaro after the boy's father reported there was an "ongoing" relationship between the two. In June 2009, she applied for a pre-trial intervention program, often the first step in receiving a plea agreement.
