Darren Aronofsky is not your average ballet recital-watching dad. No siree bob. And even if he was, his swans would wear black tutus, have mothers who clipped their fingernails way far down into what's practically negative space, and curiously have screws sticking out of their flesh like rejected Mattel toys.
