While watching HIMYM if you don't envy Marshall and Lily's relationship (with the exception of their short lived yet devastating break up) there is something wrong with you. They are best friends, excellent parents, and partners in crime, simply put they have the perfect relationship.

Whether you're still pulling for Ted and Robin or you're a huge fan of Robin and Barney (you're crazy if you haven't jumped on that bandwagon by now) nothing touches a HIMYM heart more than sentimental moments with Barney Stinson.

Remember when Ted became a professor? Though he's sometimes a frustrating character to follow (just let Robin be happy and move on damnit!) we can't help but hope to see things finally work out between him and "The Mother" this season.

Following Marshall's career path has been painful for all of us. We just want to see him, Lilly, and baby Marvin live happily ever after! Yet, that doesn't mean we don't replay the episodes when he struggled to find a job and refused to wear pants. We need to get our own motivation from somewhere don't we?

Anytime the crew ventures out to drink (other than MacLaren's) things get out of hand and it is amazing. Seriously, some of the greatest episodes are definitely when Lily and Robin try to drink enough to make up, or when Robin turns into a "woo girl".. you get the point.

Whenever an episode has to do with Robin and her Canadian roots or her father that wished she was a boy, you know it's going to be great and usually rowdy.

How many sitcoms can pull off a musical number? Well How I Met Your Mother does it better than any show I've ever seen! I mean really they have Neil Patrick Harris' singing skills how could it be anything less than amazing?

The slap bet is one of the best things HIMYM has created. We will never get sick of the "You just got slapped" song or "Slapsgiving." One of the things I'm most looking forward to is the final slap in this final season.

We will never get sick of Lily's intrusive ways. She loves control and has confirmed that she actually does meddle in all of Ted's relationships. Who can blame her? She's just trying to find the perfect person to fill her "Front Porch Theory."

Barney Stinson's antics are one of the greatest assets of the show. From believing his father was Bob Barker to his countless schemes to trick women into sleeping with him, we're prepared for a good time when Barney says "challenged accepted!" or proclaims a night will be "legen...wait for it...dary!"

If there is one thing we can count on from the final season of How I Met Your Mother it's excellent examples of friendship. Ted, Marshall, Lily, Barney, and Robin have had many ups and downs throughout the past 8 seasons but the one thing that has always remained true is their devotion to each other. We wish this show would never end but cheers to the final season!
