2. Marshawn Lynch Repeats One Sentence At Super Bowl Social Media Day

The Seattle Seahawks running back said "I'm here so I won't get fined" 25 times in four and a half minutes during the Super Bowl Social Media Day. Apparently he could've gotten a whopping $500,000 fine if he didn't show up. Despite his "best" efforts, Lynch could still be fined by the NFL for wearing his brand's 'Beast Mode' hat.

3. 'Boston Yeti' Spotted During Blizzard of 2015

Snowed-in Boston residents posted photos of a mysterious figure dressed like a Yeti stalking the streets at night on January 26. While the city faced a travel ban, with up to two feet of snow, the Abominable Snowman roamed free.

4. Deflategate Chocolate Nets $200,000 After Auction

Dented chocolate football made by chocolatier Sarris Candies, in honor of the New England Patriots' deflated football scandal, was auctioned off on KDKA radio on January 30. The winning bid went for $5,000, which was matched by the candy maker, then the total was doubled by donors.

5. 'Zombie Cat' Comes Back From The Dead

A Tampa, Florida cat named Bart, now better known as "zombie cat" was hit by a car, presumed dead, and buried. But five days later, he reappeared — alive — thus proving that cats really do have nine lives.

6. A Zimbabwean Was Jailed For 9 Years For Eating Python Meat

Retired professional wrestler Mick Foley was ejected from Philadelphia's Wing Bowl 23 when officials reportedly witnessed him hiding uneaten chicken wings into his fanny pack during the competition. He didn't have a chance — Pat Bertoletti won the Wing Bowl, eating 444 wings in 26 minutes.

9. Cancun, Mexico Will Change Its Time Zone

Mexico's Quintana Roo state is apparently a time lord. The state announced that on February 1, it will switch from Central Standard Time to Eastern Standard Time, in order to accommodate tourism. Popular destinations Cancun, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen are all located in Quintana Roo.

10. French Parents Banned From Naming Child Nutella

A judge in France told parents they couldn't name their baby girl Nutella, after a brand of addicting hazelnut-chocolate spread, because the child would ridiculed as she grew older. The judge said the parents should instead call her Ella, which sounds a lot less tasty.
