1. Electrick Children

About a 15 year old girl running away from a fundamentalist Mormon household and hooks up with Macaulay Culkin's cuter brother. The end is kinda unfulfilling and the plot is kinda odd, but it's cute and a good time filler. I recommended it to some of my friends who wouldn't watch it because they thought the poster was screaming "I buy $450 studded platform creepers from Urban Outfitters", which is fair but it's so much more than that.

2. Mortified Nation

I saw this at 3 in the morning and was laughing and crying so loud in the dark. This funny and witty documentary is just basically people reading their diaries from Junior High and of course it contains the angst and drama many of us endured, but that's what makes it special.

3. Muriel's Wedding

Featuring a Pre-United States of Tara Toni Colette this is about an Australian woman who listens to a lot of Abba and runs away from her problems until she confronts them and grows up. There are some depressing elements to it, but it's still very watchable.

4. Rock & Roll High School

LITERALLY one of my favorite movies. Some lesser people may not appreciate the camp value & awful jokes, but that just adds to the appeal. Featuring the Ramones from their marvelous Marky on drums era and the amazing Riff Randall, Rock 'N' Roller.

5. Eagle vs Shark

Feat. Flight of the Conchord's Jemaine Clement as a dude who is unaware of this girl who likes sharks attraction to him. They wind up dating and she becomes aware that his sweet ass Sega skills doesn't make him a good guy to date.

6. This Must Be The Place

This documentary on a small-town record studio in 1960s Alabama that was the start of many successful rock groups also the Rolling Stones were there.

11. M*A*S*H

The movie which the Alan Alda show was based off of is hilarious as HECK and fricken well written.

12. Nosferatu (1922)

Because they couldn't get the rights to Bram Stoker's book Dracula, the German expressionist knock off film was made; with only little changes being made to the plot. The film is still scary and beautiful 90+ years later, plus Max Shreck as Count Orlock is scary as hell. Nosferatuuu

This classic 1932 Universal Horror Film starring Boris Karloff is a heck of a lot better than the 1999 Brandon Frasier and it still stands on its own today.

19. Brom Stoker's Dracula

Weird Dracula adaptation that I forgot about, but it's a groovy choice to watch when bored at night. (Starring the main 90s babes Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder & Keanu) Beware as it's about ninety hours long.
