Spooky Victorian Spirit Photography

Ghost hunting is not just something for the SyFy channel. Late 1860's photographer William Mumler discovered the eeriness of double exposure after he took a self portrait that had accidentally been double exposed with a picture of a dead relative. He then decided to cash in on the Victorian obsession with the supernatural and began taking "spirit photographs" for those who were willing to pay.
