From Budweiser's "puppy, horse love" and T-Mobile's "no contract Tebow" to Microsoft's empowerment piece and Audi's "Doberhuahua," the focus for most people last night was on the battle between all the glitzy, $4 million dollar, 30-second Super Bowl spots.
But for the residents of Savannah, Georgia, they got to witness arguably the most epic Super Bowl commercial for 2014 during the first local commercial break of last night's broadcast. Personal injury lawyer Jamie Casino bought the entire two-minute block of local advertising and went all out with a spot that is part metal music video, part movie trailer and part "I don't know what I just saw but it was awesome!"
Most lawyer TV spots aim to build and maintain brand awareness but often don't break through the clutter. This spot from Casino takes the cake, eats it, tells you how awesome it was and then orders an entire new cake for you to enjoy, too.
