It’s 12:15am and you’re hungry. Nothing sounds good and your hunger says time is of the essence. Let HefferBrew help you take a leap into the future of midnight snacking.

    Wafflemin Roll

Midnight hunger can, and often, strikes without warning. One second you're hanging out watching tv, the next, if you don't get food instantly, heads will roll. The unfortunate part of this is usually when you want a midnight snack, it's a very specific item you want. We here at HefferBrew are not immune to this, we do however, believe in taking midnight snacking to a new level. With that in mind, we give you the first installment of "In the Kitchen with HefferBrew" and the first three tried and true midnight snacks guaranteed to satisfy even the wildest snack craving.

    1. Wafflemin Roll (pictured above) -

    - Ingredients:

    - 1 tube- Pillsbury "Cinnabon" Cinnamon Roll mix

    - 1 Black and Decker Waffle Iron

    - Nonstick PAM or Butter for said waffle iron

Making this tasty treat is quite simple; pre-heat waffle iron and use a generous amount of butter to prevent sticking. Open tube of cinnamon roll mix and place one roll at a time into the waffle iron. Wait about two minutes and serve with included icing.

    2. Pressed Grilled Cheese Waffle Sandwich -

    - Ingredients:

    - 2 slices of bread (your choice)

    - 3 slices of cheese (again, your choice)

    - Margarine or Butter

Still got that waffle iron from those delicious Wafflemin Rolls? Well clean that thing off and gear up for Round 2. Little did you know when you bought that wonderful waffle iron, it could also work as a Panini press. Put together a traditional grilled cheese sandwich and once it's been buttered, place the sandwich in the waffle iron for about 3 minutes. Your cheese will be perfectly melted with all the glitz of a Panini.

    3. Pop Tart S'mores -

    - Ingredients:

    - 1 box of S'mores Poptarts

    - 1 Hershey chocolate bar

    - 1 bag of Jumbo Marshmallows

Carls Jr. did late night food enthusiasts the world over when they introduced the Pop Tart Ice Cream sandwich. Not because it's delicious (note: it's pretty awesome) but because it can inspire endless combinations of Pop Tart dessert enthusiasm. This is just one of those possibilities. Place two Pop Tarts in the toaster, when done, remove Pop Tarts, break them in half and roast one marshmallow over the stove. Place a piece of the Hershey's chocolate and the roasted marshmallow in between the two pieces of Pop Tart and eat it before the chocolate melts all over your hands. The s'mores combined with the flavors of the S'mores Pop Tart could possibly cause a sugar overload but hey, we're out for satisfaction, not health.
