Desperate Housewives has returned after leaving off with a devastating plane crash that hit Wisteria Lane. The show started with Susan finding out that Carl is in surgery and may not make it. Susan thinks about what her life would have been if Carl and she had remained a couple. As expected, Carl continues to cheat and Susan eats her worries away. Teri Hatcher even dons a fat suit for the “dream”. The much plumper Susan makes a pass at her plumber, who happens to be her real husband, Mike. Mike cannot get away fast enough. Susan wakes to the reality that Carl has died.
