10 Moments When The Goblin Ball Was Off The Charts

The Goblin Ball is an annual event in Melbourne where creatures from all walks of fantasy converse for a special evening. This year the world of Ember Rule (the Fire Kingdom) hosted the event after Pintina (the former Ice Princess) was brought to justice for MURDER - then subsequently forgiven. Apparently you can't kill a God who is part Phoenix.

1. When Pintina was brought to justice for MURDER

Pintina, after being accused of MURDER MOST FOUL was returned to her birth place of Ember Rule to seek Justice for her crime. However the Gods of Ember Rule had other plans.

2. When Pintina was offered Demigoddess status!

The Fire God Ebon who was unfortunately murdered by the hands of his own biological daughter is ALIVE and rose from ashes like the Phoenix he is! In true compassionate form the Fire Goddess Paiva offered Pintina the chance to be blessed if the guests allowed (but not before locking the Gods heart away safe and sound). Everyone worked at signing petitions for her Damnation or her Blessing. What would the outcome be?

3. When the Quests kicked off and guests were asked to help!

The evening kicked off with much revelry and debauchery. Then the guests really started so show their true colors depending on who they aligned themselves with. Amak from the Ice Kingdom was calling for the death of Pintina however Hasina the Fire Priestess wanted her blessed. Mysteriously Maude from Terra Bayou (the world of Earth) was collecting keys and Bodhisattva (from the Spirit world of Starlantis) collected runes for some mystic purpose. Each guest was assigned a Quest badge and rewarded with a gift from the realm when the quest was completed! Who wouldn't want to be bribed!?!

4. When the Ringmasters got a chance to admire the costumes.

There were some amazing costumes at The Goblin Ball and there was so much to look at but this Puppet who came with her Puppet master was one of the favorites. Imagination ran rampant on the evening and so many photos were taken.

5. When the Gods bestowed the greatest gift of all. Best Dressed!

The Choice was hard however the choice was granted by the Gods of Ember Rule and Tracy Tractor took the trophy of Nightshade FX skulls and a free passage to The Goblin Ball 2015

6. When a Tree took out the other Best Dressed Unanimously!

Now that certainly wasn't a hard choice to make. Amazing! The Tree Sentinel hailed from the world of Terra Bayou and stood almost 10 foot tall! This was not only a labor of love but also a labor of labor. Imagine dragging around tree trunks for feet that weigh 9 kilos each!

7. When Pintina was BLESSED with Demigoddess Status!

We knew you would love her. Celebrations ran high. Although Pintina did her dastardly deeds in the Ice Kingdom, Ember Rule had a whole bevy of Acolytes who petitioned for her forgiveness. Maybe she isn't the wicked witch daughter she was initially thought to be and is the saving grace Ember Rule had hoped she would be.

8. When the Quests continued!

A little more adventure is always in store and with rival factions from every corner of the Goblin Realms (see the Ice Guardian in the background? Not to be trusted!) everyone is encouraged to be vigilant. Bodhisattva was still seeking runes to help expose the thief of the Gods heart, however would guests listen to the warnings?

9. When the thief was EXPOSED!

Bodhisattva entered the Grand ballroom with news. Maude the Poppet Peddler from Terra Bayou was the dastardly character seeking to steal the Gods Heart. Ebon quickly demanded Maude to be removed back to his own Kingdom without any repeal. Maude claimed Ebon was "heartless" and technically was correct. The Goblin Ball was saved and the Gods heart kept secure. Or so we thought...

10. When Pintina double crossed us all!!!

We should have seen it coming with that heart around her neck. Actually every Goblin Ball has clues around the world we create with what is about to happen. However who saw this coming? As The Ringmaster O and The Ringmaster Darko completed their banter Pintina stole on stage and swiped The Fire Gods heart replacing it with a poppet! We can only deduce that a journey to Terra Bayou is in order for our guests to experience The Power of Voodoo in the year 2015!
