While she seems sincere, why did she do this in the first place? It was obvious that this was meant to be a crass joke, not something to elevate. When the jokes went south, she laughed like the rest. She did not stop the segment. This was planned. Next, she didn’t apologize until it was obvious she’d made a terrible career move. This was an appropriate apology to make, but she doesn’t seem like the “smartest person in the room,” as I keep reading and hearing from those on the left. She seems to be as mean-spirited as the rest of the hosts on MSNBC. I’ve never seen a group of hosts on a channel self-destruct as fast as that crew.
