Autumn is here and it's the perfect time to make the most of the flavors that surround this beautiful time of year. This caramel apple dip is the perfect addition to your dinner parties this season.
Caramel Apple Dip
RECIPE:
Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
- 12 oz caramel sauce
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker, and cook on high for 2 hours.
For The chips (makes 12 large ones):
- 4 flour tortillas
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 parts sugar (to taste)
- 1 part cinnamon (to taste)
Cut out shapes in the tortilla strips, or just cut them into strips. Spread with melted butter, and sprinkle on desired amount of cinnamon sugar. Bake at 350°F/177°C for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
