My hair appointment was at 10:00 and I have 0 braids in my head.

Getting my hair braided aka so far I've read an entire book and watched 2 movies #blackgirlhairproblems at its finest
3. Because braids take a long-ass time.
There should be a "Movies To Watch While Installing Your Box Braids" list.
We're talking 4+ hours. This shit is a commitment.
4. Slyly feeling around in your head to see how much hair you have left to go.

9. Dealing with people that are suddenly very curious about your hair.
10. And responding in the only way you see fit.
11. Wishing there was a headscarf that could cover your entire head of newly braided hair.

12. Constantly flicking your hair to ensure it doesn't get trapped in anything.
Your zip. A door. They can get trapped anywhere.
13. Losing a soldier in the struggle.
Heartbreaking.
14. And devising a totally plausible reason for the loss of a beloved braid.
If one of ya braids fall off just say it's a horcrux
15. Having some trouble manoeuvring when your braids are too damn heavy.
