R. Crumb’s Rejected New Yorker Cover On Gay Marriage

Famed cartoonist R. Crumb says he’ll never again work for the New Yorker after they rejected this cover without explanation. They commissioned Crumb in 2009 to do a cover on the subject of gay marriage, he turned this in, they rejected it and gave no reason. Too offensive? Not offensive enough?
