How Fake Uggs Are Made
You really don’t want to know. Knock off Uggs are made with the pelts of Chinese raccoon dogs rather than than the sheep skin found in authentic Uggs. In order to pass the savings for these counterfeits on to the customer, the raccoon dogs are tortured and murdered in a mind-blowingly horrific fashion. WARNING: Graphic.

“Investigators filmed animals that were kicking and writhing as workers ripped their skin from their bodies. If the animals struggled too much, workers stood on the animals’ neck Or they beat the animals’ heads with knife handles until the creatures stopped moving.
It’s also a very slow process, and they usually start from the feet(paw)-up, giving the animal plenty of time to endure the pain. After their fur was peeled, the animals’ bodies were tossed into a pile like so much trash, most still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog, tossed onto a heap of carcasses; it had enough strength to lift its bloodied head and stare into the camera.
It raised its head, blinked with its remaining eyelashes and then lay its head down to continue dying for anything from 2-3 Hours.”

paulinej a year agoThis video is ancient, I saw it about 7 or 8 years ago when no-one had even heard of Uggs. Obviously this doesn’t excuse the treatment of these poor animals but I very much doubt that they are being used for the purpose you are claiming. Also I’m pretty sure even a little kid could tell the difference between fur and fucking sheepskin!!! Plus there is no-longer much of a market for real fur nowadays.

I’ve honestly never paid much attention to PETA or similar groups, but this video will make an activist out of anyone. I think Dante must have forgotten the circle of he’ll reserved for these people.

ering5 a year agothis is the most sickening, horrifying, disgusting, repulsive thing i have ever seen in my whole entire life. i literally just had to put my head on my desk for 10 minutes just now because i felt like i was going to pass out and vomit. and i thought the human centipede 2 trailer was awful. FUCK HUMANS. SERIOUSLY. FUCK THEM. I hate to be ethnocentric but COME THE FUCK ON CHINA WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING. i’m going to go throw up now.

Sheep are not killed for their fur, they are sheared. They are sometimes slaughtered for their meat, but not always. Many times they are sheared season after season, leading happy lives between relatively painless haircuts. The U.S. has some horrible factory farms, but the Chinese take animal and human rights abuse to an entirely different freaking level.

corys2 a year agoAll you guys crying HUMANS SUCK and other such stuff better not be eating factory farmed meat or poultry, the same kind of stuff is happening to make a lot of our dinners. Yeah its for food and not hideous boots, but that doesn’t make the animals feel any better. I hate that this is happening, however when I read about stuff like this I start to feel guilty that I do choose the cheaper meat over humane then I feel like a hypocrite @_@ But to jump around once more, why the FUCK to people even NEED animal fur anymore? I have felt some pretty damn soft and glorious faux fur, and in this case you don’t even see it! Fuck them.

a short haired girl a year agoall for fugly fashion. please, let us continue to use animals for our worthless needs. we’re not cavemen using every part of the animal for sustenance and warmth. we use them for vanity. i hope videos like these will make you think twice about what you’re buying and what animals had to suffer in order for you to look like tool.
