Air National Guard members Terran Echegoyen-McCabe (L) and Christina Luna (R) have drawn a lot of attention, including scorn, for these photos in which they’re breastfeeding while in uniform.
The seemingly harmless photos were posted on the Facebook page of breastfeeding support group Mom2Mom, and the reaction was overwhelming. While most supported the two women, a vocal minority claimed the photos were disrespectful to the uniform.
There are no rules in military conduct against breastfeeding in uniform and the moms say they do this all the time on Fairchild Airforce Base in Spokane, Washington. Mom2Mom were forced to issue a statement saying they support the troops and are in no way attempting to exploit or disparage the military.

kea718 a year agoI’m really not a fan of women breast feeding in public… And if they absolutely must do it at least they can try to be discreet about it a cover themselves so I don’t have to see it. Why can’t women breast feed in their nice air conditioned (or heated) car (then they could even listen to music)? Or in one of those bathroom lounges (I know not all bathrooms have them but some do)? At least find a place a little less public, or face the other way…. Idk I’m just so not a fan of seeing women with their tits out and a baby sucking from Their nipples

My wife and I attended a public forum, one of the subjects being argued was permitting women to breastfeed publicly. Some jerk was droning on about how immoral the practice was so my wife jumped to her feet, grabbed a hold of her 36D’s and waved them at the asshole as she yelled “We are all mammals here! Except for you Republican lizards!”. God I wish I had a film of that.

Patriotic, pro-motherhood, pro-family … I guess pro-life types really are the biggest, most obnoxious hypocrites you’ll ever meet.

roelvana a year agoFunny those American complainers. Suppose a woman feeds her child 6 times a day, that’s once every 4 hours. there are two feedings in the night/early morning, two in working hours and two in the evening. Should there be special clothing for feedings by daylight and night time? Why it’s alowed to get used-food out of your body in uniform and would it be “not done” to get/give fresh food into your body in uniform? It’s not in the bible, koran or any other religious document.
Respect for the women who feed their children whenever and where ever they want. Hat off ladies! -
