And here are but a few of those frightening, decidedly un-Christian threats. 16-year-old Jessica Ahlquist successfully sued to have a prayer removed from her high school cafeteria, making her the target of online attacks and death threats which are being investigated by authorities. She now needs a police escort just to go to school.

sallie griffin a year agoThis is so sad. I think it was a bad move to sue the school, but it was an even worse move for all those kids to say what they did. I doubt that any of those children are truly saved. What Jessica needs is support around her, not for her actions, but for her emotions. A true Christian would talk to her,comfort her, and tell her about God. You are supposed to walk the faith. If anything, this event turned her more away from God. It hurts to see such evilness. I remember 16 being a hard age, but it should never be this hard. I hope all those children learn from their mistakes and never use such hurtful words again.

SitaSky a year agoShe just wanted a prayer taken down and apparently the state courts agreed, she didn’t want to physically hurt or kill someone. It’s crazy that these so-called Christians don’t realize the difference and want her harmed just because she isn’t christian. Real Christians should be tolerant, kind and understanding. Where the hell are they? And, where are the atheists in R.I. standing up for Jessica? She needs to know she isn’t alone.
