I’m guessing that broad’s dad is Bugs Bunny. When she talks, I can tell she’s thinking about nibbling on a head of lettuce.

the girl might be traumatized but its more about the mom actually thinking this is completely necessary for a 5-6 year old. the little girl is gonna have some problems not because of the eyebrow waxing, but with all the pressure her mom puts her under. i dont know if she was really in that much pain (then again, idk what she feels) but she’s screaming out of fear, just remembering the last one. the fear sometimes just overwhelms the present and little kids just freak the hell out. What i think is really sad is that she runs back to her mom to protect her from the other lady, when it’s really her mom who put her in that scary/painful position. not cool. Basically, i think this entire show is messed up.

i didn’t bother seeing the post earlier cause i had seen the episode and all i can say is “give it a rest people!”  so the kid - who’s 6 not 5 - got her eyebrows waxed. big fucking deal. i wouldn’t put my kids through that but the girl is just as bad as the mom. she’s loud, obnoxious and playing it up for the camera. i’m not justifying the mom’s actions but the “poor, little girl” would whine and yell at the drop if a hat so i ain’t on her side either. it all comes down to the action of parenting and the reaction the child will have. the kid hollers about waxing - understandably - but she’s also a spoiled brat who can only managed to cry “no” whenever things don’t go her way and the parents agree with no further to do. kid pageants are indeed a strange world, certainly not my cup of tea but all i’m gonna say is live and let live. p.s. for all of you who wrote about wanting to cause some form of physical harm to the mom should really think about that. fighting fire with fire isn’t always the best idea and something i cannot tolerate under any circumstances.

I want to light the mother on fire. Ugh. Uggggggggggggggh. Seriously, what kind of mother would do that? It’s not like getting a vaccine man, it’s waxing her fucking eyebrows for a fucking beauty pageant and she clearly doesn’t want to do it. So angry. I just can’t even comprehend the stupidity of the mother and the woman doing her eyebrows. The littler girl is sobbing and screaming. I don’t know if it’s abuse (I wish it was), but the whole child beauty pageant thing is fucking sexualization and exploitation of prepubescent girls. Even teenagers and women shouldn’t take part in this barbaric shit anymore, but definitely not children.

Which is worse, the mom, the waxer or TLC for exploiting this?

I would definitely consider this child abuse. She’s forcing that child to endure something she knows is painful for her and something she’s scared of. What a fucking idiot of a woman.

SHAME ON THIS LADY FOR FORCING HER DAUGHTER TO SUFFER LIKE THAT! she’s clearly terrified and traumatised from when the other beautician ripped her eyebrows off before so why the hell is she forcing her again!!! what a dreadful mother and poor poor girl! and if i were to see a little girl with her eyebrows waxed and her legs shaved and all the things women do i’d be freaked out, child beauty pageants should be more about childhood beauty not about forcing a little girl to dress like a lady.

That poor kid’s mom needs to be backhanded a few thousand times and then have her ovaries ripped out. Don’t try and tell me, “Oh, my daughter WANTS to be in beauty pageants and she KNOWS she has to endure stuff like this if she wants to win. This was all her idea and she’s OK with it.” Bullshit. She’s FIVE. When I was five all I cared about was Hello Kitty and cartoons. Didn’t even KNOW what a beauty pageant was, let alone being IN one. All I need to do is take one look at mommy to see appearance is EVERYTHING. Live vicariously through your kid much, you shallow bitch?
