For Those Passionate About Motorcycles, the Ride Never Has to End – Even After Death.

A new company, EtURNalRide.com has created a cool way to make your motorcycle a rolling memorial to a lost loved one.

As funeral directors, we hear a lot about the plans to memorialize someone we've lost. When it comes to cremation, many are as simple as purchasing a plot at the local cemetery. Others get a little more creative and personal: keeping the cremated remains (cremains) in a beautiful urn at home, scattering them at a favorite lake or spot in the woods, a "covert" spreading at a favorite sports venue, having some put into a necklace or other piece of jewelry, or maybe a trip to a favorite country or shoreline.

Funeral directors also hear about are the stories about last wishes before death: one last trip, one last gathering, or one last great memory. Some get to come true. Others, unfortunately, run out of time. This includes those who share the passion for the open road, the wind in their hair, and the memories made on their motorcycle.

For all the above reasons, a Wisconsin funeral director created EtURNal Ride. EtURNal Ride creates custom motorcycle covers that can attach to your bike and allow you to take your love one for - not just one last ride, but as many as you like.

The covers hold cremated remains and can be displayed on a personalized plaque, or on your motorcycle.

"Those who are really into motorcycles take it beyond just owning one." said Gabe Schauf, creator and owner of EtURNal Ride. "People get custom paint jobs, parts, and accessories all the time. The bike becomes as unique as its owner." This includes the covers on the bikes, usually clutch and timer covers. All bikes come with stock covers that act as access panels to the inner workings of the bike. Bike owners like to replace these with more unique styles to show off some personality.

That's where EtURNal Ride comes in. "We designed a way to safely seal the cremains in the cover. On the front we can custom engrave images and script or even adhere photo quality images of the deceased. We can be as creative as the customer wants to be." These covers are built to attach just like any standard cover would and covers for most bike models are available.

On the cover you can have an engraved or photo quality image that will withstand any ride.

While the parts are durable enough to handle anything a ride can dish out, some may want to save the road trip for a special occasion (Sturgis, anyone?). With that in mind, each order comes with a custom plaque to display the cover when not in use. The plaque comes with engraved plates that can display a name, poems, quotes, etc as well as a spot to attach a picture.

"Everyone is different and unique. Why can't the way we say goodbye be just as unique? This gives bikers that chance."

EtURNal Ride continues to look for new and personal ways to honor the lost. Contact them for more information at service@eturnalride.com, find them on twitter and facebook or check out their site at http://www.eturnalride.com/.
