5 Ways Fierce Ink Press Can Rock Your YA World

We may be crazy, but we’re your kind of crazy.

So, we've been experiencing a bit of a heatwave at the Fierce Ink Press offices and the hot temperatures have gone to our heads. We're currently running an Indiegogo campaign for our upcoming non-fiction anthology, Becoming Fierce: Teen Stories IRL (twenty per cent of proceeds goes to Kids Help Phone) and we've decided to add the ultimate-OMG-are-you-for-real Fierce Reader level. It's a bit insane, but like we said, our brains are all mooshy from sun. And, to be honest, we were a bit nuts beforehand.

Fancy yourself an author? Think you’d like to try your hand at it? The first offering in this new level will give you a one-on-one mentorship with Colleen McKie and Kimberly Walsh, developmental editors and publishing label executives at Fierce Ink Press. They’ll help you from the beginning (“Hey I wanna write a book about fighting alien factions set in Second World War Germany!”) to the final polish (“I’m not sure I like where that comma is.”). Colleen and Kimberly will even help you decide how to sign the birthday card for your great-aunt twice removed.

2. VIP trip to the four official launches for Becoming Fierce

So there’s going to be a launch party in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island for the anthology. And you’ll get to go to all four! We’ll pop you on a plane, put you up in a four star hotel and even arrange for a dinner with one of the authors at each stop.

Well, you’ll get a copy of each of our titles when it releases, along with a copy of each of our back titles.
