Celebrity Buzz Those of us who were worried we'd live our entire lives without seeing Cloris Leachman in a dress made entirely of cabbage leaves can rest easy. The 82-year-old actress and Dancing With the Stars alum wants you to know (on behalf of PETA) that she is a vegetarian and that you should be one too. Why that requires cabbage evening wear I have no idea, but we're in PETA World now, so it may be best to just accept it and move on.

If this was the kind of publicity PETA concentrated on (augmented, of course, with education and information campaigns about the tons of benefits of a plant-based diet) then I'd bet that many, many more people would hear their message and take it seriously. Instead, like so many extremist groups that people might otherwise think of as benign or even useful, PETA is a laughingstock—seen as a group of freaks that no normal, sane person wants anything to do with. The NRA and its former mission as an education-oriented organization comes to mind as well. Why do such groups insist on undermining their message and goals so completely? I guess they really are insane.
That Glenn Close is pretty hot, even if she has a man's name!
I want to be Cloris Leachman. Not because of the cabbage. She's just the most amazing 82 year-old woman ever (besides my beautiful Grandma)!
I definitely want to have Cloris Leachman growing on me. She would look so good with a rhinestone encrusted chihuahua coming out of her mouth (accessorize!).
Peta people are freaks, but this is a nice ad, and Chloris looks awesome(ly airbrushed). Even in her natural state, she's a pretty hot grandma.
Wait, she looks amazing.
Wait, is this supposed to keep us from eating animals or cabbage?
