Ok, don't freak out that you didn't get into your first choice school
because looking back on it, your Dub-C experience was amazing
but wait, Whittier College? What city is it in?
You may have felt a little culty at orientation...
and it didn’t matter if you cared, but the Whittier Scholars kids made sure you knew about their made up major
Maybe you didn't join a society...
or maybe you did.
But either way, you knew all their reputations
"Hey, new friend!- Oh wait, you're NOT from LA?"
Let's go catch an art show, or a play, or... wait, we have sports teams?
You probably knew one of the sketchy guys living in Ball basement
and where ever you went, you were always sure to see professors with their dogs
but wait, its Thursday? Let's hooka it up on the quad and watch LARPers all night
You couldn't believe that the cafeteria or The Spot would always close as soon as you got there
but it's alright, you can just eat here
or grab a beer at the 40
unless you just got that work study check after a long week in the Phonathon, then it's Bottle Room time
or if you wanted to pretend you were healthy
but when the parents are in town, you know where to go
They still aren’t convinced at your choice of college, but you're happy
You know what, you gosh darn loved it. Even if you your mascot was a Poet.
You're following in the steps of some amazing alumni
and if nothing else, at least you got to rage with this guy.
