No the actual scandal is the scandal

By Christie’s own admission he is inattentive to the concerns of New Jersey residents and he’s done a poor job of selecting his team.

Let's forget MSNBC's constant airing of this scandal and the GOP unartful way of comparing it to their manufactured issues with the Obama Administration. By Christie's own admission he is inattentive to the concerns of New Jersey residents and he's done a poor job of selecting his team.

Depending on how investigations and inquiries go, Governor Chris Christie will present himself to the American people as an executive who's capable of being the leader of the free world. Sadly, regardless of how everything shakes out, it is true that he's done a terrible job of selecting his team as an executive and an even worse job at monitoring their work.

His Governorship of the 11th populous state in the nation gives us insight into his leadership style. Republicans and Democrats have been vocal on some of the tactics Christie's staff have utilized to gain compliance or to swash decent. There are those videos of him being quite vocal to private citizens expressing a view that's contrary to his too. We don't know his foreign policy. Before we've asked him what his world view is he's making national news on his inability to manage the affairs of his own staff or major crises within his state. Why didn't he do a better job of understanding the issues surrounding the lane closures of the George Washington Bridge?

Based on what Christie has told us he is unqualified to handle a Hurricane Katrina or a BP oil disaster. So Jennifer Rubin, to the contrary (The scandal is MSNBC), the scandal has nothing to do with MSNBC, but it has everything to do with a governor being accountable for his actions.

Personal journals and diaries were admissible in court well before texting and emails. Why is it wrong, given everything that has transpired, to at the very least report on the Hoboken Mayor's claims if there's nothing to hide? Do we call Mayor Zimmer a liar before we've seen her records or understand how they tie in with the other evidence?
