Did Robert Kraft Know More About Aaron Hernandez Than He's Willing To Disclose?

Questions surrounding Hernandez might be more than a simple jersey buy back program can fix.

Has the NFL's elite organization, known for it's no nonsense approach to the business of professional football, gone astray on player personnel matters? Contrary to Hernandez's praise of his former team, the "Patriot's way" seems to be fractured to some degree.

If the allegations involving one of the NFL's star tight ends are true is it worth asking, what did the New England Patriot organization know about the three shooting (including 2 homicides) Aaron Hernandez was alleged to be involved in? Is this a case of a tremendous lack of oversight on matters pertaining to their personnel or were flags raised within the organization when Hernandez's name was sounding in connection with the shooting in south Florida.

On February 13th of this year, Alexander Bradley, 30, filed a civil complaint in the U.S. District Court in South Florida where he accused Hernandez of shooting him in the face after a long night of partying in Miami.

His attorney, David Jaroslawicz said, "I think he was left there because they thought he would be dead."

The question going forward is, shouldn't the Patriot organization have done a little more research before making a 40 million dollar investment on Hernandez and were issues of anger and violence being raised before the deal was made and if so do the public or more importantly Odin Lloyd's family have a right to know some of the details?

Questions surrounding Hernandez might be more than a simple jersey buyback program can fix.

In the future will NFL franchises base business decisions like the Hernandez deal on more than just field production?
