Subject Matter
An experimental contemporary dance which is composed through a complicated structure that constantly dismantles itself. The work considers the consumption of women’s bodies by the public, while the women use their physical efforts, as a way to aggressively resist its theft. Working with the fiercely, historically traumatic landscape of their bodies, the dancers wildly represent their self-possession and self-worth by subverting patriarchy's gaze and oppression by violently attacking it through their dancing.
