This Incredible App Gives You Responses To Sexual Harassment

A Candian not-for-profit has created a sexual harassment response generator for smartphones, and it is simply incredible.

The app is called 'Not Your Baby', and is developed by the Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence Against Women and Children (METRAC), a Toronto-based organization aimed at preventing violence against women, youth, and children.

The initial content is based on experiences of sexual harassment by 238 survey respondents, but anyone can suggest responses or post their own stories.

The app lets you choose where you were harassed and by whom, in order to give you a tailored response.

Catcalled on the street? Just check 'stranger' and 'street'.

Workplace harassment? The app offers advice on that too.

Problems at home? The app also has an option for that.

Or is it someone you know who is bothering you?

It also has some rather humerous comebacks, if that's your thing.

The app also gives you general information about sexual harassment, the possibility to share or read others stories, and legal advice.

Wondering what constitutes gender-based harassment? The app has the answer.

Have a friend that has been harassed, and wondering how you can show support? Consult the app!

Want to share your story, or read other people's stories? The app lets you do that too!

Or just want someone to talk to? The app can help you with that as well.

You can also suggest your own response to other users.

So what are you waiting for? You can dowload this incredible app for FREE from the AppStore.
