1.
exersice hard! run long and far. focus on total body: burpees, squat jumps, hanging leg raises, reverse pull-ups, spider-man push-ups, boot-camp style
2.
stay active throughout the day! help cook, play sports with the family, run around with the kids, freeze tag, throuw around the football. have fun and move!
3.
fast until the big meal! snack on veggies, fruits and all the healthy stuff, drink lots of water just to hold you over. Think high fiber, low calories, low fat and low protein. have your breakfast to fuel your workout.
4.
eat whatever you want at dinner, enjoy, give thanks and embrace the family time. you worked hard all day one gigantic meal isn't going to kill you.
indulge, its turkey day!
5.
think about how much fun you had letting loose and having your meal with your loved ones, when you wake up the next day make healthy meals from the leftover turkey (e.g. sandwiches) and do a nice workout! (just don't carry on pigging out the next day). no damage done if you stick to healthy eating and exercise the days after.
