Does anyone else feel like they're watching a clip from Idiocracy? “Fuck you, it's your birthday, asshole!” In all seriousness, I wish this was shocking to me but this is typical behavior where I am at. I am in a predominately Hispanic border town and routinely hear parents say things like “shut the fuck up, homes” to their three year old daughters and children's birthday parties usually feature NC-17 rap music while the adults simulate sex acts while the children watch. It seems to be a part of their culture because I see it too often for it to be a fluke.
