Vintage Comic Pin Up Art Makes a Comeback

Banished to the garage by most (when the Feminist movement came along) but slipped into protective mylar bags by a few, the sexist and sleazy comic Pin Up art of Humorama and Men's Magazines of the 1950s is making a comeback. Alex Chun has published The Pin-Up Art of Humorama, Craig Yoe Published Secret Identity several years ago, and Jim Linderman's Vintage Sleaze site which profiles forgotten artists of the 1950s has reached well over 1 million hits. The website Pinup Lifestyle, which allow EVERY woman the opportunity to show her retro-vintage beautiful side has thousands of members. Many of the fans of the sites are women.
