After telling opponent Al Franken in November that he should concede the race for Minnesota's Senate seat to spare citizens the cost of a recount (and later losing to Franken in that recount), known-squirrelly-politician and (technically former) Sen. Norm Coleman has allegedly crashed his own campaign website. According to the bloggers who uncovered the ostensible scam, after the "crash" Coleman's camp issued a press release saying the site was overwhelmed by voters who were disenfranchised by a corrupt recount process. Say what you want about corrupt politicians in Illinois, but Minnesota is making a go for that crown.
