1. Your Shoe Habit Becomes His Jersey Habit:

You start to scour Ebay for game worn jerseys instead of lightly worn Louboutins. You begin to rationalize spending upwards of $500 on something Patrick Marleau wore rather than upwards of $500 on something that Tory Burch designed. You know how to tell if the COA is real and become inexplicably excited about scuff marks, puck marks, repaired tears, and reinforced fight straps.

2. He Loves His "Flow" More Than You:

You all know what I'm talking about. If it's long enough, hockey players are exceedingly proud of the hair that flows out from under their helmet. Take my advice. Don't fight it. Just support him and hope that he looks more like Kris LeTang than Jaromir Jagr.

3. You Spend At Least One Day A Week At The Ice Rink:

There comes a time when every girl has a choice to make. You can either A) get froyo with your friends, or B) watch your boyfriend's hockey game. I trust you'll make the right decision.

4. Your Role Models Have Changed:

While you used to see yourself as a modern Carrie Bradshaw or Serena Van Der Woodsen, you now look up to real women like Robin Scherbatsky. Seriously. That girl likes hockey, scotch, AND laser tag. Talk about sex appeal. A Vancouver Canucks Jersey never looked so good. Oh, and that scene where Tara Reid schools Ryan Reynolds in hockey in Van Wilder? Yeah, you watch that on repeat.

5. You Know The Game Better Than You Know Your Best Friend:

You can explain icing, off-sides, and high sticking better than the players themselves. Every time your boyfriend's team wins the other fans compare your antics to Tom Cruise's stint on Oprah's couch, and you've spent more than one morning trying to explain to your professor that you lost your voice screaming at the tv during a fight. While you still can't watch Stallone's fight scenes in the Rocky series, you can watch Marty McSorley vs. Bob Roberts epic 1994 battle without wincing. Go figure.

6. Your Drinking Habits Have Changed:

You have a new "usual". You used to order a jack and coke or hard cider at the bar while watching the Stanley Cup playoffs, but you've since learned that it's a Molson tall boy (or Labalt Blue) or nothing. Don't be that girl.

7. You Always Have Your Hands Full:

Most of your life is spent holding your boyfriend's many hockey sticks (like girls with purses, they can never have just one). Just look at it as payback for all the times you've made him hold your purse "for just a second" while you were shopping. Yeah, karma's a bi***.

8. Dental Hygiene Becomes Less Important:

You're more worried about him keeping all of his original teeth than you are that he forgot to floss last night.

9. It's 90 Degrees Outside, But You're Wearing A Sweatshirt and Jeans:

It's a cold, hard world out there on the ice, and you need to make sure that you survive all 3 periods of frigid rink temperatures. You love to laugh when girls show up in tank tops and shorts. You give it till the first off-sides call before they run, shivering, to the main lobby concession stand for watery hot chocolate and warmth. Amateurs.

10. Your Definition of "Sexy" Has Been Slightly Altered:
