Brodka a year agoWhy am I the only one who isn’t blown away? First, the teacher lets this carry on far too long to begin with. The smaller guy is allowed to walk over talking shit the whole way. The bigger guy has time to stand up and they continue arguing before Teacher Wonderful even says boo. 18 seconds of this is caught on camera before the teacher has had enough. I’d have put the smaller kid in the hall the moment he stood up. Then, his message isn’t, let’s meet after class and discuss whatever it is that is causing this so we can find a solution that doesn’t involve violence, and instead his message is “you can’t do this here” and “take this off campus.” So it isn’t the manner it’s merely the place. I’m not impressed at all.

Emily G. a year agoTo an FB comment made - what does this have to do with more male teachers? I had 3 teachers in elementary school that scared the crap out of me. You didn’t mess with them in the classroom. They handled their problems, and they were female. Last year I had a college professor lecture a whole room into behaving the way a college student was supposed to behave, she handled the problem well. What does what the (awesome) teacher did have to do with his gender? That is a confident adult instructor. He put those kid in their place that gave them no way to complain. on the actual video - He did a damn good job. I hope those kids actually thought about what he said instead of letting it go in one ear and out the other.

Jonah Peretti a year agoWow this brought back memories of my middle school in Oakland, Ca. The teacher breaking up the fights was named Mr. Bain and he didn’t mess around either.
