Rescuers Brave Fukushima Fallout Zone To Save Pets

For all of us wondering why so many animals were filmed as being left behind, Fukushima residents thought they were only evacuating for a day or two at most.

Since then, the Japanese government will not let them return to their homes, even to save beloved pets. Luckily, rescue groups have taken up the slack and are reuniting pets with their owners.
