How many people actually played bayonetta and what about bioshock would make you think of atlas shrugged.

You know… i was hoping for some laughs at the expense of stupid girls, but really? some of these questions even pro-gamers might not know. If you never played Bioshock how are you supposed to know that question? I haven’t played it (except like 5 mins) and without the Big Daddy on screen i would have been as stumped as the girls. (I mean Halo was a good guess, probably what i would have guessed as well). Its the same with the Bayonetta one (if you hadnt played it how would you know?). Granted some of the questions were stupid easy (pokemon/portal/LoZ) but give them some credit for at least KNOWING the names of games. (and not just CoD/Halo).
Plus to the nay-sayers abuot the Gamestop girl. I have a friend who works there and is a girl. They didnt hire her because she knows about games (which she doesnt… at all) but because SUPRIZE she was a girl! so she can sell games to sad lonely fat nerds and make them feel like they have a chance at her…

Meh, I knew half of these. Never played pokemon or portal. Love Bayonetta though ^_^

Booth Babes are so unnecessary in a Video Game convention. They’re not gamers and They’re annoying, they should get some real girl gamers, we’re out there.

these questions aren’t THAT easy except for the last one. The portal one was kind of easy, but worded weirdly.

If you wanted answers get gamers in the booths… If you want to draw attention in an event designed for such, you get models.

I feel like credit should go the the woman who could name John Galt, but not Bioshock. Videogame knowledge is no measure of intelligence.

The lesson here is: If you don’t know anything about video games, YOU’RE A STUPID PAIR OF TITS. Seriously, they’re are models, and they are hired as such.
Using their lack of video game experience against is a ridiculous way to lower them when they’re just some girls trying to make a buck.

This is why we don’t need booth babes. At all. Ever. For any reason. Maybe I’d be more receptive if they hired girls who weren’t doused in fake tan and hair bleach and were actually kind of pretty, but booth babes just aggravate the shit out of me. They know nothing about the products or companies they are being paid to represent so they aren’t a very good source of information, and EVERY picture i see of friends with booth babes has the girl looking sick to her stomach or just scowling. They bring the mood at cons waaay down; I really wish more would follow PAX’s example.

The only one who really killed me was the chick who worked at Game Stop. She should have at LEAST known Link. She must have been fired.

What kind of hint is “Atlas Shrugged”? I know the answer is bioshock but how does saying the words Atlas shrugged 5 times in a row give you any indication of what the correct title should be?

I can’t be the only person who has owned a nerdy amount of video game systems (NES, GB, SNES, PSX, PS2, GBA, GC, DS, and Wii) who only knew the answer to one question.

Obviously fit models hired just to look pretty at a convention won’t know anything about games.

To be fair, I didn’t even know the first one because like most self respecting gamers that was just hold enough to escape the trend in America, I never played Pokemon either. I would have said “Pikachu Squirtle and oh I don’t know, Mewtoo? Gigglypuff? They’re all stupid.”

This is why the Pax booth babe ban is awesome. You arent allowed to work the booth unless actually have been educated on the product.
