Why Are Disney Villains So Pissed Off?

A hero is only as good as their villain. In fact, Disney believes their evildoers are so good they're now receiving top billing. As we see how that works out for Angelina Jolie in “Maleficent,” Dish Nation takes a look at Disney’s rouges gallery and we ponder the question: why are Disney villains so pissed off? By the way, for a children-friendly company, Disney sure loves punishing these villains with some messed up deaths!

Maleficent ("Sleeping Beauty")

Reason she is so pissed off:

She's a single woman who's not invited to the christening of the royal baby. She's so mad, she casts a spell on princess Aurora. Way to overreact! Maybe she just forgot where to look for invites on her Facebook?

Powers:

Magic, ability to turn into a fire-breathing dragon!

Messed Up Death Scene:

Enchanted sword to the chest. Sounds rough, but what else can one do? She turned into a freaking dragon!

The Evil Queen ("Snow White and the & Seven Dwarfs")

Reason she is so pissed off:

The Evil Queen used to be the fairest one of all (hottest chick in the land, most Instagram followers in the zip code!). Then, she turned 43 and everything started to sag. (Look, there wasn't plastic surgery back then). Suddenly, the fairest one is her step daughter. So, of course she does the logical thing, hires a huntsman to cut open her heart and put it in a box.

Powers:

Poison Apples.

Messed Up Death Scene:

She's struck by lightning, falls off a cliff, and gets crushed by a bolder. SEE, WE TOLD YOU THESE DEATHS WERE MESSED UP!!!!!!!

Scar ("The Lion King")

Reason he is so pissed off:

His annoying nephew is born, making him 2nd in line to the throne. Scar should have realized that being king means too much responsibility anyway. Instead, he should have taken Prince Harry's approach and just gone to pool parties in Vegas.

Powers:

He's a lion, that's really powerful.

Messed Up Death Scene:

He's eaten alive by his so-called hyena friends. AS I SAID, ANOTHER INSANE DEATH FOR A DISNEY MOVIE!!!! But he so had it coming!

Captain Hook ("Peter Pan")

Who wouldn't be jealous of an ageless flying brat?

He's chased off by the hungry Croc. But lets face it, eventually he's going to get tired and it's not going to end well for Hook.

Reason she is so pissed off:

Her former schoolmate Anita and her husband Roger do not allow Cruella to adopt their newborn puppies.

Trust fund.

Messed Up Death Scene:

She doesn't die, but she ends up going to jail. We're guessing British female prisons are not as fun as in "Orange is the New Black," so it's still a pretty bad punishment.

Ursula (The Little Mermaid)

Reason she is so pissed off:

This part human, part octopus, used to live and work in the royal palace of King Triton. We can only imagine she did something evil and got the big boot from the undersea king. She now lives in a creepy grotto.

Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland)

Reason she is so pissed off:

The queen suffers from bi-polar disorder, as well as, severe megalomania aka she's a psycho with a fetish for chopping off people's heads. Her majesty is the angriest of all the Disney villains.
